Sky Cheema is not the person he is now. As he was growing up he used to be a shy person, his mother got him involved with after school classes at a young age. He studied Speech and Drama for 5 years before moving to high school and taking on Drama for GCSE’s and A Level’s. Seeing his potential and love for the Performing arts he moved forward to university.

Sky enlisted himself on the Performing Arts Program at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David's on the BA Acting Course. Thanks to the program his performance for theatre grew but it was far from his goal. Thank to at university Sky went abroad to study in the University of North Carolina Greensboro.

In North Carolina Sky started to learn more about Film acting. He went to popular parts on the East Cost to gain more knowledge about America alongside his education. He travels to New York, Atlanta, to research more about the Film industry, and how to improve his performance for film later on.

He is always excited when projects allow him to meet new people and travel to new places.

After working with funding organisation the BFI NETWORK on his up and coming film “The Sikh Soldier” his debut film as a Director, and writer, Sky learned the skills needed for making a film. He even got hands on and built the WW1 Trench set with his family to make sure the film looked and felt authentic on screen.

At the start of 2023 has opened his own Film studio GBS Studios and a Production Company Double Drama Productions to engage in a life of film, both in front and behind camera.
